L’Ultima Luna Riserva Speciale is our Barley Wine aged for 10 years in barrels that had hosted fine Scotch Whiskey. The oxidized notes harmonize perfectly with the old wooden barrel on which rested famous Islay (peaty) and Speyside (soft) whiskeys.

APPEARANCE
This beer has a dark color. The foam is completely absent.
FLAVOUR
It has reminiscences of whiskey, soft and deep ethereal notes with peated and mineral nuances.
TASTE
In the mouth it is very full-bodied, fleshy and complex. Its sweetness is mitigated by many shades of wood, mineral, peat and tertiary hints due to long aging.
FOOD PAIRINGS
It goes well with dark chocolate, strong blue cheeses, dried fruits and nuts, smoked dishes.
