The magic of time, a style revolution.

A beer born from our classic Barley Wine, L’Ultima Luna, which in this specific limited edition has spent 2 years of aging in oak barrels that previously housed E. Dupont’s Calvados. Subsequently aged in our cellars for 10 years, we waited for the right maturation time to make this beer unique and unrepeatable.

This limited edition has only 100 bottles and is presented coupled with an original celebratory package.

L’Ultima Luna Riserva E. Dupont Calvados Barrel 2009 is a very complex beer, both on the nose and on the palate, with intense aromas and flavors of quince, tobacco leaves and dried fruit (almond, raisin, hazelnut), ranging from light floral and spicy aromas (cloves). Soft and round body, it has a very persistent finish on the palate on which mainly caramelized and toasted notes rest.

A drink to be enjoyed after a hearty meal, when it’s cold outside, perhaps in the company of a good blue and seasoned cheese or a slice of artisan Panettone.
