La Luna Rossa is created with an initial sour beer which underwent 2 years of mixed fermentation (lactic bacteria, brettanomycetes). Then we add cherries for at least 6 months and we blend the new beer with a small part of other beers. La Luna Rossa is an ale that can remember a Kriek or a Flemish Red Ale. It has an extraordinary complexity associated with a strong character. For lovers of this kind of beers it is certainly one of those hard to forget.
